Terms of service

The deal

lrok.io provides public URLs for services running on your local machine via outbound tunnels. Free plan includes one active tunnel and one reserved subdomain. Pro plan ($9/mo) lifts those limits and unlocks TCP, custom domains, and basic-auth gating.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use lrok to:

• Distribute malware, phishing pages, or illegal content.
• Send spam, scrape at high volume, or attack third parties.
• Resell tunnels as a service to others.
• Run anything that violates the law in the EU or your local jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to suspend tunnels and accounts that violate these terms, with no obligation to notify before action.

Uptime

We aim for high availability but do not promise SLA-grade uptime on any tier. lrok runs on a single edge today (Helsinki). For production-critical paths, plan accordingly. The /status page shows live operational state.

Billing

Pro is billed monthly via Clerk Billing (Stripe under the hood). Cancel anytime from the dashboard — your subscription remains active until the current period ends, then your account downgrades to Free with reservations preserved.

We don't do refunds for partial periods. We do reverse charges on demonstrated billing errors — email contact@lrok.io.

Liability

lrok is provided “as is.” We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss arising from your use of the service. Our maximum liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the changelog at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
